part of Daemon (there's some rather interesting subtext with regard to this uncle and niece which adds to the drama).

Now, with schemes hatched on both sides - and the kingdom in the balance - viewers will see the house that dragons built and learn how they tore it all down. What's more disappointing is that you would actually be able to access more content through an HBO Max subscription. It would have been great to hear their further insight into episodes like ‘The Heirs of the Dragon’, ‘We Light The Way’, ‘Driftmark’, ‘The Lords of the Tides’ and ‘The Black Queen’.

It’s a shame, though, there are not any audio commentaries on any of the episodes from Condal, Sapochnik, Martin or the cast. The HDR delivered through Dolby Vision and HDR10 is exquisite in the way colors and details are rendered.com is an Introducer Appointed Representative of Pay4Later Limited, trading as Deko, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 728646). Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series finds the Targaryens ruling over the Seven Kingdoms – and on the brink of a civil war within their own house. The 4k Blu-ray combo editions from Warner Home Video/Studio Distribution Services include a total of eight discs (four 4k Blu-rays and four 1080p Blu-rays) along with a code to redeem Digital Copies.

Not being familiar with what source material there is on this occasion does mean I found myself wanting to know how it would turn out. Most of the video is reference-quality 4k, although there are scenes when low light renders a flat and grainy image (visible also in digital formats). Set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series finds the Targaryens ruling over the Seven Kingdoms - and on the brink of a civil war within their own house. I just feel if they don't include it at some point (that could also include an entirely new spinoff series), that it will be a missed opportunity to bring certain characters back during their younger days. Unfortunately, there are no deleted scenes anywhere on these discs, and neither are the “Next Episode” trailers or “Inside the Episode” minidocs after each episode on HBO and HBO Max. It seems foolish not to include this miniseries with special features since they offer so much insight into the series.

However, if you don't have your display setup correctly, your player has black crush (Oppo Players) or your TV has black crush, then good luck. It's balanced well and is not completely over the top like some of the movies that I've watched lately. For those interested in the special features, save yourself the money and simply hop onto HBO Max, open up each episode, and scroll to the bottom of the landing page for each episode. It’s visually stunning, especially with the 4K presentation that makes everything pop, but the story is captivating even with some of the abrupt time jumps the season introduces and expects you to go along with. This was definitely a missed opportunity, because deleted scenes have been one of the most desired elements of owning physical media. The features also make a point of how the creatives wanted to showcase the visual style of sets like the Red Keep and the power of the Targaryen dynasty with the architecture being more complex than Game of Thrones. Dialogue is very clean and crisp, delivered mainly through front channels where voices float above ambient sound and soundtrack compositions. Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Set over one hundred and seventy years before Game of Thrones, when dragons were still around, opening narration implies that it's going to end in war.
