About this deal

Marion Artwood takes us on a journey of fantasy in her The Ruptureverse Dragons series which kick-starts with Dragon’s Ice that revolves around Freya who navigates her new destiny while she tries to find clues on her past. The character development and details from the author were incredible and this proved to be more than just another smutty book. Despite the limited public information about Kane, the author's storytelling prowess is evident through the complex and engaging themes of destiny, power, and romance that permeate the narrative.

His eyes grew more intense, and she noticed a slight tension in his jaw and a clenched fist in his free hand. The personal perspectives of Sephie and Adrik, shared through a first-person narrative, draw readers into an intimate bond with the characters. As the story unfolds, Sephie discovers that she is destined to fulfill her namesake's role as Queen of the Underworld. Each one must find their place in the world to leave their mark on it, while striving to make it just a little brighter with each choice made.

I’m repeating myself in saying that the main characters supposed to be this supernatural that where very strong but they barely done anything to show the power they have . However, his attention shifted back to her face, and he leaned in to plant a gentle kiss on her forehead. As one navigates through the extensive chapters of "King of the Underworld," questions about Sephie's capacity to embrace her royal destiny and the implications of her humble origins naturally arise. The story of the King of the Underworld is all about Sephie and her extraordinary adventure in the Underworld.

The plot is good and I get the idea behind it but in all honesty, the writing is terrible and it needs a thorough edit. In addition, she has trust issues, but she blindly trusts this man who she had a 2 second conversation with prior and allows his bodyguards to enter her home then moves in with him. King Of The Underworld Chapter 5 is all about him informing Sephie about a man with an intimidating height, crew-cut black hair, and a beard, who is standing outside Sephie’s door in the morning.Since marriage is the requirement, I would expect this Dreame novel to have more pleasant doses of romantic scenes throughout the chapters.
