A very exciting experience. The audio book version I’ve just finished left me in panic mode! The pitch and power of this narrator is spot on, talk about upping the tempo at the end! I’ve not watched any of his dramas so I’m certainly going to correct this and read more of his work. Why have I never before this? I have no idea except too many books little time.Thus begins her quest to clear her name and find her husband’s killer. Teaming up with a journalist they begin to delve deeper into her husband’s activitities as a politician but there are people out there who believe the past should remain in the past and will stop at NOTHING to make sure their secrets stay hidden. The story starts with a funeral. The children stand at the front of the room grieving the loss of their mother.
