Our simple yet fun craft is made from a collection of green, silver and red pipe cleaners, twisted into two candy canes and secured together into a heart shape. Don’t you love these!? They are so adorable! They would make such a cute treat to take to school, or even to the office. Less is more when you are adding the candy. You can always add more but it’s much harder to take some out.

But what hasn’t changed is that every time I’ve made candy cane hearts with chocolate, the kids go completely bonkers with anticipation.
