About this deal

Master of Destiny (Triple, all Leaders): Add the value of this ability (to a maximum of 6) to any ability used by a fighter within 12” of the leader. Contrast Skeleton Horde on the horns, face and feet. Extra coat on the horns to get a pooling contrast effect. Spartan Assault Tank • Fellblade • Decimator • Typhon Heavy Siege Tank • Lord of Skulls • Death Wheel • Plaguereaper • Plagueburst Crawler • Silver Tower of Tzeentch

These are the foot version basic Tzaangors. To me, they seem like a line infantry type of unit in this book – they’re not necessarily there to hit hard or do insane things. They have two wounds with a 5+ save so they’re not as durable as Bestigors, but cheaper. They can run and charge, one of the only sources of that in this book now. The worst part about the unit is that they have different weapon options and things that you have to figure out – the warscroll has four different melee weapon profiles for this one basic unit. Tzaangor Shamans are the most exalted of their mutated kind. They are oracles and prophets, and they preach to their ilk atop flying Discs of Tzeentch. Their psychic mastery is born not of endless study, but of singular devotion to their god, and is unleashed upon their foes amidst ritual chants in the fathomless language of the Tzaangors.

I love the idea of making this huge thing a Priest, and I like that it hits easier with the artillery, but I just don’t know if it’s worth the 68% points increase here, especially with the range reduction that then puts you in threat range of a lot of stuff. Jabberslythe Overall, I love the range of the Dark Storms spells, and I like the lower casting values. I think I’ll likely try out Furious Gale and Fulgurous Blades first, as those help to keep our dudes alive. We still have Ambush, and the Greatfrays are still there but they are much changed and more streamlined, similar to the other 3rd Edition AOS Battletomes. Beastherd Ambush The origins of Tzaangors are as varied as their appearance. They arise where Tzeentch wills it, and are brought into being by his blessed transmutations. Some are the product of grim experiments performed on the slaves taken to the Planet of the Sorcerers.

Both summoners have access to Warptongue Blade, that for a Triple allows to roll as many dice as the value of the ability and on 2-5 allocate 1 damage to an engaged enemy, 3 if you roll a 6. Statistically you have good chances to do some damage even on a low Triple. The Eyes of the Nine Blue Horror is actually a Tzeentch Daemon and has access to a revised Split Again ability that allows it to be replaced by a Brimstone Horror. Note that, contrary to the Tzeentch Demons, the Brimstone Horror cannot be added to the warband directly, hence its cost of 0 points. They have both the same profile as their daemonic counterpart. Abilities for the Tzeentch Arcanites Warcry Warband So, I have 6 Tzaangor Enlightened models from the Aether Wars box set I bought for my steampunk dwarves in AoS and I figured I could use them with my Thousand Sons, but I'm on the fence about building all 6 with Fatecaster Greatbows, all 6 with Divining Spears, or 3 of each.

Every abomination is a creation of Tzeentch. Every twisted monstrosity a child of the Changer of Ways. If I could, I would devour the thoughts of them all, that I too might know the horror of their existence. But for me there is a different fate." Apply a basecoat of blue paint, such as Macragge Blue or Thousand Sons Blue, to the Tzaangor Enlightened’s skin. Ensure even coverage, and don’t worry about being too precise at this stage.
